A well-known social worker, Shree Rambhau Ingole has been supporting children from the red light area in Nagpur for last 30 years. His work inspired Mr. Arun Nalawade, (who is famous for his role in Oscar nominated movie: Shwaas”). Mr Nalawade created and directed a film “Waarasa” based on Rambhau’s work in which he himself has played the main character. This movie is a must-see for all the people who care about well-being of society locally and globally. This artistic presentation opens our mind to the age-old problem of the vicious circle that prostitutes’ children are facing. We never thought it was our problem!!  Well, let’s watch this movie and then we will see if the social worker in you has awakened!!

**Since this movie has English subtitles, you may bring your non-Marathi, non-Indian friends (of all ages) as well.

This movie will be screened on Sunday, May 21st, 2017 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Albert O’ Little Community Center (18750 Clarkdale Ave. Artesia, CA 90701).

Movie is free for MMLA Members. However, we are requesting everyone to give generous donation of $10 for this effort.
